Our Humble Purpose
The vision and goal of the writings posted here are to create a place where robust discussion and debate can return to its important role in the shaping of America. Civil and honest discourse is vital in a democracy and we have lost it.
The goal of Reality is Undefeated is twofold. First, We hope to shed light on the absurdity of many proposed or enacted solutions/policies that are complete fraudulent and whose main goal is not to solve the problem, but create the illusion that the problem is being solved so that those in powerful can remain in power. This total buffoonery is perpetuated by a media that has become more about propagating their own agenda then reporting the news in a factual manner. This is the greatest threat to our democracy.
While it is easy to cast dispersion on other’s ideas (the shear virtue signaling and the clownery of ideas make it easy), it is more difficult to come up with real, workable solutions. The second part of our mission is to propose ideas that start a robust, transparent discussion about all the viable options (not just ones that the powerful and the media try to push).
The goal of the “Our Modest Proposal” is to cause the reader to evaluate the ideas and mentally percolate on the ideas set forth. We are pro percolate. It in modern society our minds are always occupied and this prevents us from wrestling with important ideas as well wondering if you left the garage open or forgot to turn off the stove.
When our schema is challenged and we have time and space to wrestle through the disequilibrium brought on by ideas that conflict with our own ideas/beliefs we hold. Then, either dismiss the ideas or incorporate the ideas into a new/revised world view. We need to regain this posture as a nation, as a people, and as a society. This is literally a mental wrestling match and it is uncomfortable (the brain does not like disequilibrium).
However, it is important part of being a human being and a citizen and a vital part of our republic.
As a society, we need to get back to the ability to discuss issues with open minds and without personal attacks or smears. If an idea is sound and based in reality, then the ideas supports itself on its own merits. Ideas have trump political affiliations and the cult of personality.
As you read and digest our critiques and proposals, it is our hope that it will cause you to examine, reflect, and wrestle with ideas and then have civil discussions with others to further refine your own thoughts and viewpoints.
