Growing up in the 70s and 80s was crazy. We had side burns, polyester, oil shortages, inflation, great music, movies, and television shows, double digit inflation, etc. Then to top that off, we started 80’s with an epidemic that threw the world into a spin.

The situation was growing increasingly dire by the day, but thankfully our government and big pharma stepped in to save the day. 

The ominous circumstances called for extreme and immediate action. In order to end the cataclysmic event, our government took the unprecedented step of giving vaccine makers absolute and complete immunity from any injuries caused by their vaccines. Then to prevent a reoccurrence of this situation they acted in “our best interest” to blow up the vaccine schedule. 

They did this in spite of the fact that none of these vaccines had ever been safety tested. However, these actions must be examined in the context of the peril humankind was facing at the time. This was all done to protect us. Extreme times call for extreme measures!

What’s that? You don’t remember the epidemic in the early 1980s? Well that’s because it didn’t happen! It is hard to fathom that such drastic actions were implemented in the absence of an existential crisis. 

Instead of forcing the manufacturer to create a safe product and then test it to ensure safety and efficacy, they were just absolved of any downstream liability! Can you think of any other product handled this way? 

If we were not in the midst of an existential crisis, then why did the government take such consequential actions? (That’s a rhetorical question because we all know the answer). Money, power, and control are the basis for these types of draconian policies. Additionally, the altruistic, but extremely dangerous belief that the elites have to protect us and take actions on our behalf. The resultant loss of individual liberty is replaced with a “for the greater good” mentality. 

Historically, this justification has been applied numerous times to oppress people and deny individual rights.  In our own past, rights guaranteed by the Constitution were suspended using this flawed justification when American citizens of Japanese descent were forcibly incarcerated in “relocation camps” without due process. These types of actions are implemented by using fear, misinformation, and the rationale that it is the best interest of all. This is the exact kind of government abuse our Founding Fathers expressly tried to prevent. 

We have seen this authoritarian playbook used in relation to vaccines. A small cluster of a particular illness is used to create sense of hysteria and then the looming threat is used to justify the suspension of individual rights and force complete submission to the vaccine schedule with almost no exceptions. 

In California, this method has been used to eliminate the personal exemption and severely limit the medical exemption by intimidating doctors who strayed from the government/drug company orthodoxy. 

At this point it is important to step back and clearly state that when our bodies have an immune response, our body is equipped with a defense for that particular pathogen. Traditional vaccines with inactive antigens can create an immune response, thus improving our body’s defenses. That biological fact is not being questioned.

The questions that need to be answered center on vaccine safety and efficacy. 

Are vaccines (with all the additives and adjuvants) safe? Unfortunately, this question has not been answered. What’s worse, any pursuit of an objective answer has been squashed and/or ridiculed.

How effective are the vaccines and the boosters in preventing the disease? Are people who are fully vaccinated still getting sick? We can’t trust the government and media to tell us the truth. It takes about 2 seconds on the internet to find videos of the government/media complex telling us that the COVID vaccine would be completely effective. However, reality told us the truth. 

That being said, we have to accept that two things can be true.  Vaccines can help protect us AND vaccines and their components can cause injuries and complications (some of which are serious and even deadly). 

In a free society with a free press, it is unimaginable that we are being forced to inject into our bodies and our children’s bodies with a product that has never been independently tested for safety using sound methodology. 

How was the situation created? 

The drug companies created the perfect storm and they continue to wield their power to completely control the narrative. Instead of investing in research to develop safer vaccines, they just got the government, the media, and the medical establishment to do their bidding. They funded “research” and packed government agencies. They purchased ads on television and radio, not to sell products, but to control the narrative. 

What a marketing plan! You get complete immunity from the politicians for you product and then you blow up the vaccine schedule, and finally, you force everyone to use your product. If they refuse or even ask reasonable questions, they are shamed and denied access to participate in American society’s fundamental tenants (education, medical treatment, employment, commerce, etc.). 

The final step is to instill panic and hysteria (using the media and medical establishment) in everyone so no one will dare question the vaccines or their motives. 

Think of how the media responds when there are reported cases of something like the measles or whooping cough. Today’s response stands in stark contrast to how society responded prior to 1986. I am old enough to remember when we got these diseases and people didn’t panic and think “We were all going to die”. 

Again, it is not to say that these diseases cannot be serious, because they can be. However the hysteria and fear do not match the reality of how these diseases impact the vast majority of people. The diseases haven’t changed, but the way people react has, and this is by design. 

The red flags are obvious and numerous. Anyone who has dared to merely ask questions and sought transparency is quickly labeled as a conspiracy theorist, unscientific, and unrelentingly smeared. There is zero transparency on all the data surrounding the hundreds of millions vaccines given to our children the past 40 years. 

The fact that we have been kept in the dark on data that could empirically demonstrate whether vaccines are safe and effective is downright frightening in free republic. This should have caused the media and our elected leaders to relentlessly pursue absolute transparency. That is their vital role in a free society. 

It is not a surprise when corporations will try to manipulate the system so they can make astronomical profits, the bigger question is why our elected officials, government agencies, and mainstream media not only stood by silently, but actively helped to propagate this corruption. 

Ironically, the ones where screaming at us to follow the science, were the ones not following science. Science is about questioning, testing, and using the data to draw conclusions. This process has been absent from the vaccine discussion.

Put all that together and you get what we have now. The degradation of individual liberty, a society that is less healthy, and the elites get more power and money. The system is corrupted and we have been manipulated and betrayed by the very governmental entities that are supposed to protect us. 

The key now is how to fix the system and move forward to ensure that vaccines are truly safe and effective and restore individual liberty (our right to make informed decisions). 

Our Modest Proposal 

• Absolute and complete transparency on all data related to vaccines 
• Conduct studies to analyze the data to compare health outcomes of the vaccinated with the unvaccinated
• Analyze the data to determine if vaccines are effective and the effects of additional booster shots (Are they needed?)
• Federal law or Executive Order to restore parental/individual rights in regards to vaccine choice
• Sunshine the absolute immunity provision (this will lead to safe vaccines)
• Work with drug manufactures to develop safe vaccines (research funding and tax incentives). 
• Require testing of all vaccines on the schedule using valid testing methods and the results published
• Develop a vaccine schedule that is based on independent data and research

The bottom line is that vaccines can be effective in saving lives, but just like our food, the system has been corrupted and needs to be fixed. The health and well-being of future generations depends on our ability to have a rational discussion about this issue and develop a path forward that both protects individual liberty and leads to better health outcomes for future generations. This not only strengthens the physical health of individuals but strengthens the health of our republic.
